Architectural Director Matt Spinks and Architectural Assistants Tom Corbett and Jack Stewart successfully completed the 2011 Bridgnorth sponsored walk, raising over £500 in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The 2011 walk was held on the Bank Holiday of Monday 30th May 2011 and played host to the only wet day we’ve had in some 6 or 7 weeks prior to the event. The rain didn’t stop proceedings however and the Johnson Team had to press on through a good few hours of wet weather before crossing the finish line in 113th, 114th and 115th position of 1200 walkers, clocking in a completion time of 4 hours and 45 minutes. Keeping up the speedy pace did take its toll however, with achy joints and muscles the following few days and causing Tom’s investment in some Wolverhampton Wanderers work slippers to rest his tired feet!
