We have created a Japanese-style extension for our clients. The room which appears to be floating over water, has a water-thin pagoda-style roof, an atrium glass ceiling and holding doors which open out on to a veranda and landscaped gardens.

We have created a Japanese-style extension for our clients. The room which appears to be floating over water, has a water-thin pagoda-style roof, an atrium glass ceiling and holding doors which open out on to a veranda and landscaped gardens.
Our aim was to create a design which compliments the existing house whilst also providing a striking new space. It will be flooded with light enhancing the family’s living experience and creating new entertaining space. The design for the oriental-style landscaping was crucial as it includes a stream which surrounds the extension.
