Staff Accommodation & Boarding House Corridor Upgrade

Johnson Design Partnership (JDP) recently completed a vital project for Concord College in Shropshire, upgrading staff accommodation and linking previously separate areas of the boarding house with a new corridor. This upgrade was essential to meet the latest UK regulations for boarding houses, and we’re proud to have played a role in creating a safer, more connected environment for students and staff alike.

From the initial feasibility study through to planning and building regulation submissions, JDP managed the project at every stage. Our team was responsible for creating and coordinating construction packages, and we provided ongoing on-site support throughout the construction phase. The project was carefully programmed to fit within the school holidays, ensuring minimal disruption to students, and was completed just in time for the new term.

At JDP, we understand the importance of aligning architectural design with evolving regulations, ensuring that schools remain compliant while enhancing the safety and comfort of their students. Our expertise in school architecture design allows us to offer a full range of services, from feasibility studies for school construction to school renovation architecture, ensuring that educational facilities are designed for both present needs and future growth.

If you are looking for school renovation architects or need support for boarding house upgrades that meet the latest regulations, Johnson Design Partnership provides expert guidance every step of the way.
